Not sure what to say?

Gwen, I am so sorry to learn of your father's death. I have many wonderful childhood memories of growing up with other Mercer faculty families, the Griffiths, the Hamiltons, and the Johnstons chief among them. Your father was a great professor and a fine human being of whom you are justifyably proud, as well as your mother. May God bless you richly as you remember your heritage.

Gwen, You and your parents made such an impression upon me as a child at Westlawn Baptist Church. I have many fond memories of your family. May you find comfort in knowing that so many people care and are praying for you. We are rejoicing in your father's presence with our Lord. Fondly, Ellen Smith Moore

Please accept our deepest sympathies.

David and family, David and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your father. May the Lords peace surround you and comfort you. David and Becky Sexton

Dear Eddie and Nancy Bess,
Sorry to hear of your father's Death.
We will be praying for you in this time of loss. Praise the Lord, He is with His Lord. We love you all.

Charlie and Linda Orr and Family

Dr. Johnston was a wonderful teacher and preacher. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. May God strengthen you all with the memories you have of this remarkable man.

Dearest David and Family,
We love you and our hearts are broken as we share your sorrow. May GOD completely overwhelm you with love and peace. We will continue to pray for GOD to strengthen you in the days ahead.

Our condolences to the Edwin Dargan Johnston, Sr. Families. Your Father housed a high level of purity and is therefore to be commended for his teaching; sharing with his generations and others on how to be more sensitive to impurity. Carry-on all households.

Dear Johnston family~Sorry to hear about Dr. Ed's passing. I have so many fond memories of him & your family during our times together at Westlawn Baptist.
