Funeral service for Effie Mae Woodruff of Harvest, Alabama will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Round Island Creek Mission Center (13829 Lucas Ferry Road Athens, AL 35611) with Pastor Antoyne L. Green officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at David Temple Church cemetery.
Public viewing will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
