Eileen R. Boetefuer (nee Stark), 89, passed away peacefully on 14 November, 2025 at Saint Joseph Manor. Loving wife of the late John C. “Jack”, beloved mother of John C. “Jack”, Jr. (Annemarie), Thomas E. (Lee), Eileen M. (Ed Henry), Mary P. Knoll (Robert), Daniel J. (Megan) and the late Susan G. She was a loving and devoted grandmother of 10: Ian (Kelly), Paige, and Elizabeth Burke (Greg); Erica and Laura; Matthew and Christopher Knoll; Morgan Schmanek (Michael), Caitlin and Colin. Loving sister of Patricia Medary(Harry).
Eileen’s greatest joy was her faith and her family, especially her grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by them whether it be celebrating a holiday or special event, relaxing at the shore in the Wildwoods, or just going out to dinner, where in later years she sometimes enjoyed a French martini. A woman of strong Catholic faith, Eileen lived her life for everyone else, always taking care of and praying for others.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday November 20, 2025 9:00am to 10:30am at St. Timothy's Church 3001 Levick St. Phila PA 19149. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30am. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Saint Joseph Manor.
