Not sure what to say?

I just heard the news about your mom and I’m so sorry to hear it. She certainly fought her hardest battle. I’ve many happy memories of Elayne( and Bob) ‘back in the day’. Again my sympathies to you both and your families.

I have been Elayne’s friend since 1957 when we met at DHS. I was on the majorette squad with her. She was better at calling than I but we managed to remain in touch all those years and through her final illness. I visited her at the lake and also in Florida. She was so fortunate to be helped and surrounded by her loving family until the end.
I always thought she would live forever! She kept all her DHS friends up to date on the goings on in life and death of our 1960 graduation...

We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was a wonderful Mother and Grandmother! May she rest in peace . Love Paula & Doug

Very sorry to hear. I will miss her. She was a special person, and was always there for everyone. Mauhaut Shores won't be the same without her. So sorry for all you guys. Sincerely, Joanne & Scott

So sorry to read of the loss of your mom. You were a loving presence in her life.

An Angel in heaven. We will miss you at group dinners, walking the neighborhood, visiting you in Florida, or just in everyday thoughts. We are happy your pain is over and in time ours will heal, but for now we are sad your not here.
Cindy and Chris your mom would want you to know she appreciated all the loving care you gave her and how lucky she was to have you. Rick she adored you and told me more than once how great you were.

Cindy, Rick, Ashley and Ricky,
Thinking of all of you at this sad time.
I’m sure she’ll be greatly missed. May the memories soothe and heal your pain.
Sending my condolences.

I admired Elayne because she was so outgoing. She was eager to meet new people and never shy and could strike up a conversation with anyone and everyone. Elayne always kept her self busy and never a dull moment. She taught me that I should always bargain at yard sales and of course how to get the best deal. She was my weekend navigator with a full schedule of where we were going and the most efficient way to get through the day. Discount stores and bead/craft stores were our favorite...

Christine,
I feel privileged to have at least gotten to meet your brave Mom. I just know she is made of gold because you definitely are! We are here for you as you mourn the loss of your sweet mother. You are loved by all of us who not only consider you a valued co-worker but even more.... a valued friend.
