Eleanor Madeline Lydens, 94, of Hart, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Oceana Medical Care Facility in Hart. She was born August 19, 1924, in Hart, the daughter of Joseph and Frances (Krause) Greiner.Eleanor worked at the Oceana County Medical Care Facility for many years as well as cleaning homes in the area. In her spare time, Eleanor enjoyed playing cards and table games with her friends, especially bingo. Most of all, Eleanor loved spending time with her grandchildren.Eleanor is survived by: her sons, Dennis (Connie) Lydens of Montague, Donald Lydens of Montague, and Kim (Diana) Lydens of Montague; 5 grandchildren, Amber Lydens of Muskegon, Daniel Lydens of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Thomas Lydens of Montague, Dustin Lydens of Hart and Curtis (Breck) Lydens of Colorado; her great-granddaughter, Isabell Lydens; her sister, Virginia Dennert of Hart; and numerous nieces and nephews.Eleanor was preceded in death by: her husband, Dennis C. Lydens in 1990; and 8 siblings.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, in Hart, with Father Phillip Sliwinski officiating.
