We are just so sorry about your loss! Sara was a very special lady and we really enjoyed getting to know her. She will be greatly missed by our staff and many patients that she became friends with here at cardiac rehab. Our hearts go out to you and your family. BACHMANN, Sara M. – formerly of Goodrich, age 75, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Genesee Care Center. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw Street, Grand Blanc, Michigan. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Hadley, Michigan. Visitation 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Sara was born on May 25, 1940 in Oxford, Michigan the daughter of the late Harold and Adreath Gark. Sara married Wayne Lee Grover on July 27, 1957 and he preceded her in death on September 2, 1966. She then married Gordon H. Bachmann on April 8, 1967 and he preceded her in death in February 7, 2003. Mrs. Bachmann served as the Treasurer of Atlas Township for 23 years and served on many Atlas Township and Genesee County committees. Surviving are: children, Kathy (Todd) Paull of Rogers City, Karla Grover of Flushing, Kris (Kelly) Grover of Hadley, Kevin (Pam) Bachmann of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Shawn, Justin, Stephanie, Sara, Mathew, Lauren, Alicia, Wayne, Aaron and Kelsi; great-grandchildren, Blaine, Kayson, Brody, Reese, and Ronan.
