Dear Knot Family
Our prayers and sympathies go out for each one of you. Our youngest son, Mitch told me about your loss as he rode the Calvin school bus with your kids. Also we as well feel your loss to some degree as we lost our oldest son, Matthew at the age of 34 a little over 3 years ago. He left behind a wife and his unborn son. Sometimes we question God why, but also we trust that God is master of All plans and knows what is best. For some of us our faith doesn’t wither...

Dearest Andrew and the whole Knot family, our deepest condolences go out to you on the terribly sad news of Lizzie’s passing. Please count on us as your Communications friends and colleagues to be there for you. Although we didn’t have the pleasure of meeting Lizzie, your stories of her over the past years made us feel like we knew her. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

I don't know you or Lizzie, but I saw the post on Calvin's Instagram and my heart broke. We lost our 15 year old daughter in April of 2023 suddenly and unexpectedly, so I understand your pain and aching heart and soul right now. She appears to be a wonderful young woman and I am sure that she spread the seeds of Christ wherever she went. Know that those seeds will bear fruit someday and she, along with her savior, will reap that harvest when He comes again. Talk about it often, be open to...

This news was so devastating and I am so heartbroken for your entire family. Going to school with Lizzie from Calvin to Illiana to Calvin, I always thought so highly of her and admired her as a student, athlete, and friend to all. I will never forget her smile, quick wit, and humor. I am so incredibly sorry for your immense loss.

Our team at BDO was deeply saddened to hear of Lizzie’s passing. Over the last three years, we had the privilege of getting to know her and becoming friends. We will cherish the memories we made on our fieldwork trips and outings. She brought a warmth and sense of humor to our team and her presence will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Our heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
