Butch is what I have known Mr Lake by every since I was a kid living on Hanover. Butch was a part of our family and very helpful to my family. He was a great man and always had something nice to say. Family remember Earth has no sorrow that heaven can not heal.

Mr. Elisha Lake Jr 76, of Roanoke, Va. departed this life on Monday February the 4th 2019 to spend an eternal life with the lord. He was born in Norfolk VA. November 12, 1942 to the late Elisha Lake Sr. And Doris Lake. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Jerry Lake, and Mother of his child Freda Hunter. Those left to cherish his memories are his children, Angela Gravely (Steve), Elisha Lake III both of Roanoke, VA and Amy Gray (Kevin) of Willow Spring, NC. Sister Lorraine Turner (Ed) of Virginia Beach VA., two Nephews, Eddie Turner Jr. And Brian Turner of Virginia Beach, VA., grandchildren Brittany Lake, Cierra Lake, and Brooklyn Lake and a great-granddaughter Sabali Coles all of Roanoke, Va. A Celebration of Life will be held 11AM. Saturday February 16th 2019, at Serenity Funeral home and Cremation Service.
