Elizabeth Keeney Hall, age 104, of Somerset, KY, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.
Elizabeth was born on May 14, 1921 in Somerset, KY to the late Thomas Keeney and Julia Abbott Keeney. She was a loving mother and grandmother and she enjoyed refinishing furniture. Elizabeth was a member of Rush Branch Christian Church.
She is survived by her four children…. three sons, Vernon Harold (Carol) Hall of Somerset; Samuel G. (Karen) Hall of Eubank; and Jeffrey N. Hall (Jennifer Burton) of Somerset; and one daughter, Frances Hensley (Hall) of Somerset; nine grandchildren, Dr. Vernon Kenneth (Jessica) Hall, Melanie (Brad) Gover, Travis (Amanda) Hall , Carson Andrew (Angela) Hall, Jennifer Hall Leach (Gary), Samuel (Natasha) Hall, Danielle Flynn, Benny Lee (Amber) Hensley, Stacy Hensley (Boo) Lyons; 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Ms. Hall was very proud of her children and grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Thomas and Julia Keeney, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carson Hall, who preceded her on April 22, 1978; grandson, Jeffrey Scott Hall; daughter-in-law, Carol Bullock Hall; brothers, Clarence Keeney, Ernest Keeney, Lloyd Keeney, Herbert Keeney, Harold Keeney, Walter Keeney, Johnny Keeney, and Sam Keeney; and her sisters, Dorothy Sears and Mable Abbott.
On Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 1:30 pm, there will be a Graveside Service and burial at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Bro. Clyde Strunk officiating.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff at Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation for their excellent care of Ms. Hall and to Dr. Robert Drake for his many years, caring for her….. “Thank You”!
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Beulah Church of God, P.O. Box 232, Eubank, KY 42567 - in memory of Elizabeth Hall.
