My dear Aunt Ellen, like my Mom (her sister), I always had a special connection with her. I loved her spunky sense of humor, and can still hear that sweet, distinctive voice and light-hearted laugh. I’m thankful for her continuous kindness and support she showed me, especially after my own Mom passed away. She was truly a beautiful soul and I’m blessed to have known her. Ellen was by far my most loved patient I ever had and the privilege of taking care of. Her sweet and loving nature made me feel like I was her own daughter. I will miss her greatly. She made being a nurse even more fulfilling than I could ever imagine. I will miss her greatly. Rest in peace sweet Ellen.
