To Marie and the children. The best legacy parents can have is for their children to become good citizens and honest people and responsible adults. Marie and Elmer you have done well, and you should be very proud of the job you have done--all good kids. The picture portrays the smile Elmer always had when I met him; he was always upbeat. His phrase, "Always good and some days better," always made me smile. I am sure he made so many smile as well. He was such a good man, husband and father....

Greg, my condolences on your loss. Unfortunately I just went through this myself a few weeks ago. Sorry I can't make it back to Coldwater to see you....it's been a while....but know you and your family are in my thoughts/prayers. Hoping we can catch up again soon under better circumstances.

My condolences.

Elmer’s smiling face will be missed in the halls of Mercer Health! Always willing to help out with anything we asked of him. I can’t even count how many times I heard his “always good, some days better” response when I would ask how he was doing... He will be missed! So sorry for your loss.

so sorry for lost

Elmer used to drive me and then assisted in my therapy at the Neurological Center in Burkettsville. He was a great help and always friendly to everyone there; patients and volunteers alike - everyone liked Elmer!!!!

Our sympathy to Marie and the rest of the family.
