Elmer H. Yoder, 82, of Elkhart, Indiana, passed away September 7, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1943 to the late Henry J.S. Yoder and Annie (Borkholder) Yoder. Elmer was preceded in death by his siblings Katie H. Yoder, Fannie H. Yoder, Irene H. Yoder, Harley H. Yoder, Amos H. Yoder, and Melvin H. Yoder. He is survived by his wife, Donna Yoder of Elkhart; his daughter, Stacie (Yoder) Gayheart and her husband, Scott, of Indianapolis; his stepdaughter, Kathy Staten of California; and his stepson, Dennis Dandino and his wife, Andi, of Goshen. He also leaves behind two grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and six step-great-grandchildren. Surviving siblings include Mary (Yoder) Bontrager of Millersburg, IN; Laura (Yoder) McGinnis of Madison, IN; and Marvin Yoder and his wife, Bertha, of Madison, IN. Elmer owned and operated TYCO Mobile Home Service for many years, serving Nappanee and the surrounding areas. He was known for his hard work, dedication, and the relationships he built through his business. Beyond his work, Elmer enjoyed line dancing, cheering for the Chicago Cubs, and watching the Indianapolis Colts play. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and love of life. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025 from 1-4 pm at the High Dive Park Pavillion in Elkhart (500 E. Beardsley Ave).
