Not sure what to say?

Mr. Elmo Pipps was a decent and upstanding man. When Mr. Pipps was Principal of Shawnee Sr. High School, my Mother contacted him regarding going back to school, after I had previously thought I wanted to quit school. I graduated from Shawnee Sr. High School, thanks to the effort of my Mother contacting Principal Pipps, and later graduated from University of Central Okla. May our Lord bless the wonderful memories of Mr. Elmo Pipps a great and commendable educator.

Sincerely, Tim...

I do not know Mr. Pipps but I am almost certain his wife Joyce Pipps taught me in second grade in Shawnee 1963-1964.
My prayers are with the family.

Mr.Elmo Pipp's was a friend of mine, he was always concerned about me and my family's wellbeing! My thoughts and prayers for the family.

Michael W Blake and family

Elmo and his wife were dear friends to my grandparents Jess (passed in 2003) and Joyce (passed in 2015) Powell. All my life they attended W.U.M. church together. Mr. Pipps was kind. He was a passionate educator and went above and beyond for many children in the education system. My sisters Jewell-Lea Gammill, Jessica Dockrey and myself offer condolences on behalf of our late grandparents Jess and Joyce Powell. In addition we offer our prayers to his family.

A hero for our country, a hero for our schools and a personal hero for many. He will be missed in our midst. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joyce and all the family. Jack and Fran

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Pipps family in this time of loss. With our deepest sympathy

Not only were you my high school principal, you were a great example and leader in the church I grew up in. Your kindness and smile will be missed by so many.

Mr. Pipps was a great teacher and principal. He helped shape a lot of lives. Prayers to Joyce, Mary and Val during this difficult time.
