Elmo Trevino, 86, left this world peacefully on December 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Derby, Texas, Elmo Trevino was the beloved son of Jose and Francisca Trevino.
Elmo Trevino was a loving husband to Ester, his wife of nearly 60 years, and a cherished father to his children: Adriana Schroeder, Adelaida (Cameron) Bell, Elmo (Melanie) Trevino, and Marcial (Victoria) Trevino. He was a devoted grandfather to Isabela, Lucia, Lyzanne, Michale, Erik, Paige, Coleton, Jadyn, Michele and David, as well as a great grandfather to Jordan, Kailey, Maddelyn, Emilia, and Sylvester.
In reflecting upon his life, Elmo was known for his generosity, his gentle nature, his passion for helping others, and he impacted the lives of all who knew him.
The family will hold a private memorial and burial to celebrate his life. The family also wishes to express sincere thanks for all the support during their time of bereavement.

I only knew Elmo for a short time but in that time we became friends he would always be at the Country store drinking his coffee in the mornings coming in to sit on table 4 that was his table and he didn't like when someone else would sit there he would tell me put a reserve sign so nobody would sit here ♀. Elmo will greatly be missed at the Country store
