Elmo Trevino, 86, left this world peacefully on December 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Derby, Texas, Elmo Trevino was the beloved son of Jose and Francisca Trevino.
Elmo Trevino was a loving husband to Ester, his wife of nearly 60 years, and a cherished father to his children: Adriana Schroeder, Adelaida (Cameron) Bell, Elmo (Melanie) Trevino, and Marcial (Victoria) Trevino. He was a devoted grandfather to Isabela, Lucia, Lyzanne, Michale, Erik, Paige, Coleton, Jadyn, Michele and David, as well as a great grandfather to Jordan, Kailey, Maddelyn, Emilia, and Sylvester.
In reflecting upon his life, Elmo was known for his generosity, his gentle nature, his passion for helping others, and he impacted the lives of all who knew him.
The family will hold a private memorial and burial to celebrate his life. The family also wishes to express sincere thanks for all the support during their time of bereavement.
