Elton E. Pfile

He was a great guy. We will miss him at our Rhodes Cousins reunion in May.

I LIVED ACROSS THE STREET FROM ELTON. SOME MORNINGS I'D LOOK OUT MY LIVING ROOM WINDOW AND THERE WENT ELTON ON HIS BIKE. I ALWAYS MARVELED AT THE SIGHT AND HOW PHYISCALLY FIT HE WAS.
AFTER WE MOVED TO MONROE AND MY HUSBAND PASSED, ELTON WOULD STOP BY TO SAY HELLO WHILE HE GOT HIS CAR SURVICED AT THE TOYOTA SHOP. IT WAS ALWAYS GOOD TO SEE HIM. I MISS HIS VISITS.

Lisa, Diane and Brian, I am sorry for the loss of your father. I have so many great memories growing up close to the Pfile family.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. He was such a nice guy and always treated me like he was glad to see me. I will miss seeing him at the Golf Course.

Lisa, Diane and Brian, my thoughts are with you today as you celebrate your dad’s life. I always enjoyed talking to your parents whenever our paths crossed, either in Iowa while visiting Alta or a family reunion. You are blessed to call him “dad”.

My condolences to the Pfile family. I remember Mr & Mrs Pfile as our distant neighbors and as STARS on my first Showtime experience. Wonderful memories of Mr Pfile and your family. Again, very sorry for the loss of your father

When the house next door is sold, you hope for good neighbors. With
Elton and Anita we were rewarded with wonderful neighbors. They becamefriends, very close friends. Elton was very special, honest, and helpful. He will be greatly missed!

Elton was a great friend to me when I was growing up - even though we only saw each other once or twice a year. He always made a point to talk to me and include me, particularly at times when I felt very alone. I'll always remember sailing with him at Little Eden. Once, I asked my family: how is Elton related to us again?? Turns out, he wasn't related at all. Just a great man with a big heart. My heart goes out to Phyllis and his family.

It has been my privilege to have Elton live next door for over 20 years. His loyalty, honesty and friendship were truly remarkable.
