Not sure what to say?

Any time I encountered Emily, she always left me with a positive thought or a little nugget of information aimed at making things better. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered for her incredible legacy at Waterford Country School. Peace and love to the entire Schacht family and my deepest sympathy for your profound loss.

Wonderful people and family with whom I was fortunate to meet and be acquainted.

May you always feel her embrace around you.

Digga and family, this was a beautiful tribute to your mother Emily, an extraordinary woman whose life touched so many. My sincere condolences.

What a remarkable woman and the contributions she made. I wasn't aware of her connection to the Waterford school, but how blessed a life she led. Prayers, Eileen, for you and your family. Her legacy should be celebrated.

To the entire Schact family my sincere condolences on the loss of your beautiful mother. Mrs Schact (still can’t call her Emily) frequently attended Advocates for Loved Ones in Nursing Homes, a group I founded. Her life experiences, nursing background and institutional knowledge were instrumental in lending us support and inspiration. She will be missed.

Condolences to you and your family. I never met her but she sounds like an amazing person. Someone that made this world a much better place.

What a life! I am very sorry for your loss but very glad your mother (your parents) left such an incredible legacy and community support for all to enjoy. - Jess Stone & Family from Cold Spring Farm
