Emma (Kinsey) Rhodes, age 90, of Cleveland, died Wed., April 10, 2013 in Cleveland. She was born April 20, 1922 in Augusta, the daughter of the late Thomas and Emma (Hiner) Kinsey. She was the owner of the E&E Tavern in Cleveland for 35 years. Beloved wife of the late Elmer J. Rhodes. She is a member of the Stillfork Presbyterian Church in Augusta, a 1939 graduate of Augusta High School and a 60 plus year member of Carroll Chapter O.E.S. #415 in Carrollton. Beloved mother of Randal (Barb) Rhodes of Mentor, Rhonda (Randy) Lehto of Medina and Robert (Donna) Rhodes of Shalersville; one living sister, Evelyn Erla Kinsey of Cleveland; 6 grandchildren, Kimberly Stephens, Bryon Posey, William Posey, Craig Posey, Ryan Rhodes and Kevin Rhodes; 14 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by 4 sisters; Christina Ossler, Dorothy Locke, Mary Turnipseed, Pauline Brown, 4 brothers; Thomas, Lafayette, George and Bill Kinsey. Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Rev. Ryan Hale officiating. Burial will be in Augusta Cemetery. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5 pm at the funeral home with Eastern Star Services at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Augusta Cemetery Association.
