Erainer "Becky" Yockman

Erainer “Becky” passed away Friday, January 29, 2016, surrounded by her loving Ohana.

Erainer grew her wings on January 29TH, joining her parents Elda W. and Edward S. Yockman and her sisters Elaine V Masterman and Evalani A Yockman.

She was born in Honolulu, HI on April 8, 1949. Becky loved her family and friends unconditionally. Becky wrote grants which were instrumental in helping the underprivileged youths in the Tacoma area.

She loved the outdoors, nature, camping, the ocean and wherever she went she collected rocks and plants, one of her many passions. She was known as the Blue Tarp Lady of Washington.

She is survived by her son, Samuel; daughters, LauraLy and Evy- Forsythe; grandsons, Sam Bye, Alex Tucci, Samuel, Keanu, Anthony, Tyberius- Forsythe, Keone, Angel, Evan, Marcos, Daniel, and Adrian -Vargas; great grandchildren Anthony Bye, Kierra Vargas, Sophia Tucci; brother Joe (Judy), Ed, Eric, Elvan (Susan); sisters Edwina (Smitty), Elvia (Dennis) and Eileen (Sam) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial will be held on Saturday, February 20TH, 2016 at 1:00pm at the Soka Gakkai International-USA Tacoma Buddhist Center, 1610 S. Mildred, Tacoma, WA 98465.  Reception to follow.
