Eric Wayne Robinson, 42, of Wayne, MI. passed away on 10/9/2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Eric was born on 9/11/1983 in Garden City, MI., the son of Laurecia Ann Robinson and Eric Wayne Hilla.
Eric graduated from Wayne Memorial High School and started college for computer engineering.
Eric married Amanda on 1/7/2003 at the courthouse in Lucas County, OH. in a small celebration after knowing each other for 9 months. They met and fell in love at the KFC in Lincoln Park, MI. at the age of 18. At the time of his passing they were married almost 23 years. Eric and Amanda share a son together Lucian Zavior Robinson, 21. Eric has a daughter from a previous relationship, Kayla Silvas, 23.
Eric was physically disabled in 2015 as a result of a workplace injury. Prior to that he worked in warehouse distribution, retail, and customer service industries.
Eric especially loved football, music, video games, swimming, spending time with family, and dogs. He hoped to one day open a pet sanctuary so he could save them all.
Eric was so full of life. People loved to be around him.
Remaining to cherish Eric's memory are his wife, Amanda Robinson(Downey), His son, Lucian Robinson. His mother Laurecia Robinson, his brothers Cody Hilla and Christian Smith. His brother and sister in laws James(Judy) Downey, Krystina Downey, Thomas Downey, Candice(John) Guffey and Sara Downey. He also has numerous nieces and nephews that will miss his presence.
Preceding him in death are his in-laws Alice and Clarence(Phil) Downey. His cousin Steven Spencer. His heart puppy Waddles and our other 4 legged boy Soren.
Eric will be missed immensely. The memories that were made with him over the years will forever be cherished.
