Not sure what to say?

I worked for Ernie Pandelos in the early 1970's as a dish washer and then bus boy at the Wheeling Esquire. Ernie gave me my first ever corporate promotion by allowing me to become a bus boy. I too remember Nick, his brother, and remember his parents every day working in the back part of the Esquire kitchen. Ernie was always square with me and I always remembered him and Nick fondly. I remember Nick borrowing my Army surplus field jacket one weekend when he needed one for his Army Reserve...

RIP Ernie. I was the GM in Butler back in the 1970's. Mike, please accept my condolences.

I was so sad to hear of Ernies passing. I have many great memories from his Esquire Super Club, and Cork & Bottle. My sincer condolences to all of his family.

Sorry to hear that you're dead RIP

Sorry to hear that you're dead. RIP

Rest in peace Ernie. I met you many years ago at the Esquire, you were my regular customer at Fabulous Fanny's, and I miss seeing you all the time at the Cork. A Wheeling legend you are. Namaste sir.

My deepest sympathy. He was my friend. One of my customers in the Wheeling water dept. Love you Mikie.

My prayers and deepest condolences. Ernie was a great friend to our family. We are all mourning his loss. From the Robert O. Burton family.

Thank you Uncle Ernie for making our childhood so special. So many memories from the Rose Bowl with Aunt Irene to all your clubs that you shared with all of our family. Every holiday and our engagement, wedding and class reunions or just going to the Esquire any time we were in town. Enjoy your restaurant in heaven. Rest in peace Uncle Ernie. Your niece, Christie Pandelos, Cecil and Mike
