Ernest Ray Twine was born on November 13, 1949 inJasper, Texas to the late Arlee Twine and Ruthie MayMcKinney.
Arlee Twine moved Ernest “Dick” and his bothers, Harris,Johnnie Mac and Robert C. to Grand Prairie, Texas in 1951; theywere raised by Mr. Arlee and Lillian Gossett Twine. Ernest“Dick” graduated from Grand Prairie High School in GrandPrairie, TX and attended Northwood College.
He united with St. John Baptist Church at an early age. Ernest“Dick” retired from General Motors in Arlington, TX. He was amember of the Live Stone Masonic Lodge #152. In his pasttimes, he enjoyed playing dominos and watching sports. He was amember of the Live Stone Masonic Lodge #152, NAACP, andJuneteenth Committee of Grand Prairie.
Ernest “Dick” leaves to cherish his memory, daughter, TabithaLee; brothers, Johnnie Mac (Angela), Lawerence Earl (Barbara)Gary Reed (Lillian), James Williams (Judith) Billy Ray Adams;and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
