Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear this!!!! He was our wedding and engagement photographer and did my entire family´s picture after I begged him When he wasn´t doing it much anymore and my family just loved him!!!!! We were hoping to get him for my sisters wedding this summer, this breaks my heart and so sorry for his family . We are lucky to have a lot of his art !!!!!!!

Erwin was an original. He was always destined for greatness given his passion and his genuine thoughtfulness for others. He was a classmate of mine at St. Edward. Such a positive and happy guy.

From Pablo John Angala I loved dad.

I worked with Erwin and he was one of the nicest people that I've ever known. My condolences to his family. He'll be missed by all that knew him.

I got to know Erwin via work during the 3rd quarter of 2021. He was helpful, passionate, and authentic. He was an absolute joy to get to know and we called each other brother despite our short time knowing each other. That smile is great to look at in this photo, and I wish I got to see it in person vs video calls. Truly saddened to hear of this. Condolences to the family and all that knew him.

I went to art school with Erwin and remember him as positive, joyful and a delight to be around. I pray that his family remain intimately connected with his bright spirit.

I lost touch with Erwin after high school but never forgot him...what a great guy. One of the nicest people I've ever met. I'm saddened to learn of his passing.

I grew up seeing Erwin and his brother Michael at gatherings of our parents' Filipino friends group. Three memories stand out. First, one day in elementary school, he could NOT stop singing the Christmas song "Up on the Housetop," complete with hand gestures; it was July. Second, in middle school, he and his bro had a tape of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" - thus I was among the first of my friends to see the video. Third, in high school, we commiserated over how boring our parents' gatherings...

I worked with alongside Erwn at General Motors Design Staff. So talented in many areas of Design, an important team leader, his impact was significant. Most importantly, he was kind, had that gentle smile and you loved to be in the studio with him. He will be missed by all that knew and worked with him. Our hearts go out the Engala family.
