Esther G. Karayianis

Esther G. Karayianis, 93, of Portsmouth and formerly of New Castle, NH, passed away June 11, 2014 at Clipper Harbor of Portsmouth.She was born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on October 10, 1920, the daughter of the late George and Sophie (Anglicas) Gekas. Esther was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Portsmouth.She was predeceased by her husband E. Charles Karayianis whom she married on October 8, 1944. Survivors include her sister, Garifelia Franklin of Cincinnati, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Services: Graveside services were held at the convenience of the family.
