My sincerest condolences to Esther's family and friends. I have been blessed to have known Esther all of my life. The Carrillo Family was neighbors to my grandparents, Isaac and Victoria Garcia, in Dona Ana. Esther was best friends with my sister, Frieda Chavez, and cousin, Barbara Winn. I would follow them everywhere when I was a little girl. Later when I worked at NMSU, I loved seeing Esther and Dennis at the Aggie basketball games.
