From the few times I met Ethel it was clear she had a warm and engaging spirit that made every interaction feel meaningful. Even in brief moments, her kindness, light and love of family were evident. She will be remembered with love.

To the extended Kane family:

My deepest condolences on the loss of the beloved matriarch of the Kane family, who was undoubtedly one of the many great Moms/ Grandmothers/ Person in the neighborhood. She leaves behind a strong legacy in all of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and Brooklyn was blessed to call her a long-time resident of Bay Ridge.

You have been a Mom to me longer than my own, I will never forget your love and kindness. Thank you for always being there and all your help with our children we couldn’t have done it without you. I will miss sending you my soups you were such a fan. Rest easy now you’re finally home.
