Not sure what to say?

Dale, Kenny and Rachel,
I’m so sorry to hear of losing Uncle Butch. I have fond memories of his nice neat shed, the three legged dog he loved unconditionally, and later years sitting in his chair just a smiling when you came to visit. As my Godfather he was always present for the celebrations of my milestones. Always welcomed you, I’ll always remember his almost wrinkle free face! Rest now Uncle Butch you are missed. Praying for all during this difficult time. May God’’s peace fill your...

So sorry to hear of your loss. He was a great person and always had a smile and good word to say whenever I was at the farm picking up his milk. My thoughts and prayers are with Dale, Rachel, Kenny and family during this tough time.

Kenny and family. Praying for peace during this lonely time. Larry & Annette Salsburey

Always teased him after Church, St. Felix , about his bald head how it shined from the Church lights we alway go a good laugh. Still have the old mower he sold me years ago and a bunch of fence post, remember he even offered to help me put them in. Very good man the good Lord got another one,his work was done here

I met Butch a couple times several years ago through Dale, I can remember he seemed to be a simple man with lots of good knowledge and stories. My condolences go out to Dale, Ken and the entire family. Rest In Peace.

A very good and kind man didn’t know him long, but the time I did help caregive for him it was a joy to know him rest in peace

Dear Uncle Butch,

Thank you for the time we spent on your farm as a child. They are some of my favorite and most treasured memories of being young. I remember the quiet in the dark when falling asleep at night; the early morning walks to the barn through the little white door, then the big white milk tanks, and then down the little hall with the stalls; your very direct commands, finger meaningfully pointed toward us, telling Wendy and me to stay behind the gate when the cows came...

Eugene was a hardworking, compassionate farmer his entire life, starting at the age of 4 milking cows; and taking over the family farm at the age of 13. He loved his Wintergreen tobacco, flannel shirts, honey, blueberries and Archway gingersnap cookies, and loved when someone stopped by to visit. He loved his John Deere tractors, working horses; Tom and Nel, and farming God’s land. During retirement, he lent a hand to the Richmond brothers: Mike, Ken, and Glenn, with their farm operations.

Eugene is survived by his children; Dale Ignash, Rachel Ignash, and Kenneth (Fay) Ignash. Four grandchildren; Kellee (Forrest) Roth, Katie (Eric) Wissner, Eric (Heather) Ignash, and Justin Ignash; 3 great grandchildren Everlee, Wilder, Grant; and one sister Joann Kalka.

Per Eugene’s wishes, cremation has taken place. He will be buried with his wife Virginia at St. Mary’s Cemetery, in Dwight Township, at a later date.
