Gene lit up any room he entered. His love of life and my sister Peggy along with the corniest jokes i have ever heard are what made him so special to me. He spoke fondly and often of his children and grandchildren. I send my prayers and blessing to all who celebrate the one and only Captain Geno.

Sorry to hear of Gene's passing. He was our neighbor for many years. Dad (Joe Thompson) and Gene had a very amusing relationship. They enjoyed trying to get each other's goat and one up one another. He always had a joke or two to share each day. He was a good neighbor and friend. Our condolences and prayers to the whole family. Germaine Whitehouse and Marissa Morrison

Captain Geno was sure to light up any room he entered. We will miss him and his love of life, love for my sister Peggy, and over the top bragging about his children and grand children. His smile, chuckles, and laughter are seered in our memory. (And yes many of the corniest jokes I have ever heard!)
Blessings to all and regrets that I cannot physically be with you Peggy and all of Gene's loved ones this week. Be sure that my prayers for comfort, rest and peace are being lifted up from...
