Eugene Schiller

I am eternally grateful to Gene for having enough faith in me to hire me as an interim coach at SPF. He believed enough in me and in my request to expand the winter track program to allow the team to compete on a larger scale. Today's track athletes have Mr. Schiller to thank for his support and vision. Thank you, Gene.

Ted, Kevin and the remainder of the Schiller Family; my condolences. Your Father was a staple in the community and patriarch of a wonderful Scotch Plains family. May he Rest in Peace. God bless your entire Family.

Very saddened to hear of Coach Schiller’s passing. We have lost a very good man, who was principled, demanding and a wonderful teacher both in the classroom and on the field.
Having been coached by Gene and Joe Kasberger was an amazing blessing for me in my personal and athletic development.
l will never forget him. May he rest in peace.

Rest in peace Coach. I remember with fondness being in one of his history classes at Benedict's. Just an ordinary student, not an athlete, but he put his all into his teaching. His huge family should be so proud.

I had the pleasure of working with Gene at the high school He was a great story teller. When my son was getting recruited to play soccer at college level Gene gave me a lot of great advice. Keeping the family in my prayers
