Eunice Ruth Benoit, 91, of Moose Lake, formerly of Burnsville, died peacefully in her home on Monday, February 9, 2026 at Oakview Assisted Living, Moose Lake.  She was born May 25, 1934 in Waseca County to Arty and Ella Hanson.  Eunice grew up on the family farm and attended New Richland High School graduating in 1952.  Following graduation, she proudly worked for Dr. Arnesen in Owatonna as a medical secretary.  Eunice married William Benoit in 1956, became a homemaker, and diligently raised her children while living in Arlington, VA, Cincinnati, OH, and later Burnsville, MN.  While living in Burnsville, she worked as an executive secretary for Blue Cross Blue Shield until retiring in 1996.  In her last two years of life, Eunice lived in Moose Lake near family.  Throughout her life she liked to read, do crossword puzzles, vacation at the lake, go on picnics, and listen to and watch the Minnesota Twins. Her greatest love was spending time with her family and having gatherings, especially at Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.
