Not sure what to say?

Cheryl, please know that my heart aches for you and your family as you all adjust to your mother's transition. I am honored to make a donation to Memory Matters on behalf of her life WELL LIVED and, for the legacy of love and friendship that I can attest lives in you.

I was working at Fisk when I met Ms. Ponder. At an outdoor event with vendors, my 3-yr old wanted a doll. I said no, but Eunice bought the doll. She told me I needed to give my child everything she wanted but it was my job to teach her what to want. Several yrs. later she called to ask me to apply to be CEO of a non-profit where she was on the board. I did and stayed there over 22 years. I will never forget her.

Praying for the family.

I am saddened by this. Dr. Ponder was a great mentor and teacher. She always listened and gave great advice. She will be missed. Sending peace and blessings to Dr. Henry Ponder and family.

Prayers for God’s comfort for Dr. Henry Ponder & family.

Family, I trust that you will find a large measure of consolation that I, along with many of your friends, share in your loss.

I am so sorry to hear this. I worked at Fisk University during Henry Ponder's presidency tenure. I did have the pleasure of receiving a bag of collard greens from Mrs. Ponder's garden--i did enjoy those greens . I also enjoyed my class with Mrs. Ponder when I enrolled in a class or two. My prayers are sent to Henry Ponder and family. Prayers sent up.

Mrs. Eunice Ponder is remembered with love for many instructive lessons privately taught.

Prayers and Sympathy for dear Eunice.A wonderful life and neighbor. May her memory be a blessing. RIP.Anne Marie & Tom Germani
