Evelyn's Obituary

On June 16, God called his daughter, Mrs. Evelyn R. Alexander home. Born on October 7, 1934 in Lynchburg, VA she was the daughter of the late John & Catherine Fleshman. She was married to the late Otis J. Alexander, Jr. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Edith Robey and a brother, Ernest Robey.She was retired from GE/Ericsson after 33 years. Evelyn loved to go on shopping trips and traveling to different places. She loved to read and her greatest passion was BINGO. She will be greatly missed.She leaves to cherish her memories four sons, Ronald L. Robey, Barry R. Robey, Otis J. Alexander III and Dennis K. Alexander; a loving and faithful daughter, Carol J. Alexander; three sisters, Catherine Bolding, Bertha Burks and Geraldine Patrick; one brother, John Robey (Evelyn); four sister-in-law, Teresa Alexander, Frances Alexander, Gladys Alexander and Elaine Wright of Lynchburg; one brother-in-law, Paul Alexander (Judith) and a host of other relatives and friends.A funeral service will be held noon, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Community Funeral Home with Rev. James Camm, officiating. Interment will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
