Evelyn Alexander

Evelyn Alexander, age 82 and a resident of Sparta, passed away Wednesday, August 3rd, at her home. Born April 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Agnes Young and was also preceded in death by her husband, Stonewall Jackson Alexander and a son , Gerald Alexander. Evelyn was a proud business owner, a homemaker and member of the Sparta Christian Church. She is survived by a son: Darrell Alexander; two daughters: Marilyn Kay Dixon and Linda Stewart, eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.Visitation will be held Sunday, August 7th, from 1pm until 5pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Funeral services will begin Monday at 2pm with Bro. Craig Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Foundation.
