Not sure what to say?

I have many fond memories of Aunt Evelyn while growing up. Our families would get together often and I frequented their South Channel Drive home through my teenage years. She always welcomed me and made me feel special. I will always remember the warmth of her smile; her soft-spoken words; her caring and loving nature; and her elegance and grace – she was beautiful.

My heart and deepest sympathy goes out to Becky, Carlton, and family for their loss.

So sorry to read Evelyn's obituary. I have many good memories of "our gang" around the round table at the club on sundsys . She was always so pleasant. Sincerely, Mary Lewis Steuer

I am so sorry to read this about Evelyn.
My first memories of her were opening my first checking account at the Bank of North Carolina. She was such a sweet and warm person. I grew up at Wrightsville Beach and have such happy memories of seeing them together. May she rest in peace and rejoice in her reunion with Carl
