Evelyn Faye Hooper

In keeping with how she lived her life, Evelyn Faye (Ketner) Hooper, 88, of Blanchard, OK, left this earth Feb. 14, 2026, on a day that celebrates love. She loved fiercely, completely and opened her heart to all who knew her.

She loved beyond the bounds of her heart. She loved her family deeply and unconditionally.

Evelyn’s professional life began in 1956 when she was just 17 years old. Her father put her on a bus from Washington, OK, to Oklahoma City. From there she forged a career that eventually led her to be hired as a legal secretary at the Walt Allen Law Firm in Chickasha. After working there 10 years, she was hired by the Stallings Law Firm in August 1992, where she remained until her retirement in October of 2020.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Vince D. Hooper; parents, Leroy and Ruby Ketner; sister Jean Lorraine and brother Ted Leroy; niece Lorena Roberts; great-niece Courtney Ketner; great-grandson Rhyett Dean Henderson; and her son-in-law, Rusty Wallin.

She is survived by four children: Cindy Henderson (Barry), Randy Hooper (Judy), Sheila Wallin, and Tracy Hooper (Samantha). She had eight grandchildren, Christina Hendricks, Aaron Henderson, Blake Henderson, Samuel Hooper, Justin Dillon, Jeremy Hooper, Tracy Nicole Hooper, and Travis Hooper. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Doug Melton will officiate, and her grandsons will have the honor to serve as pallbearers.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.  Burial will follow in the Blanchard Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home in Blanchard.  Online obituary and guestbook are available at www.eisenhourfh.com.
