Evelyn May Sellmeyer

Evelyn (Evie) May Sellmeyer passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, she was the daughter of the late James and Irene Murray of Indianapolis, IN. Evie is preceded by her husband Bernard (Bernie) Joseph Sellmeyer of Indianapolis, IN, son Russell Thomas of Mooresville, IN, grandson Sam, and brother Ronnie Murray of Indianapolis, IN.

Survivors include sons, Michael (Sheryl) and Daniel, both of Avon, IN. TWO sisters, Colleen Arnold of Clayton, IN and Pat King of Avon, In.

Grand Children, Brian (Andrea) of Plainfield, IN, Steven (Lindsay) of Clayton, IN and Scott of Mooresville, IN.

Great Grand Children, Isaiah Gibbs and Brooklyn Sellmeyer of Plainfield, IN and Joe and June Sellmeyer of Clayton, IN.

Evie was a professional artist and had her oil paintings on display in "The Back Porch & Shop" in Nashville, IN for several years. Besides her hobby of painting, she enjoyed karaoke, traveling, fishing and spending winters in Florida. She always had a good outlook on life and fun in everything she accomplished.

She loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday February 3, 2025, at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon Chapel.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday February 4, 2025, at St. Susanna Catholic Church. The entombment will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Indiana.
