Exhilda Mwinga, 39, of Berrien Springs, MI died Friday, July 21, 2006 in Berrien Township as a result of a car-pedestrian accident.A funeral service celebrating her life was held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2006 at All Nations Seventh-Day Adventist Church with Pastor M. Harris officiating. Burial will follow at Sinanda Farm outside of Lusaka, Zambia. Friends are invited to sign the guestbook at www.legacyfuneral.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Legacy Family Funeral Services – Matthew R. Purchase Chapel is serving the family.Exhilda was born August 16, 1966 in Mumbwa, Zambia, to Job and Edna (Kabunda) Mwinga. She received her grammar school and secondary education in Zambia and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Sienna Heights College in Business Administration in 2004. She volunteered as the assistant vice-president of the Zambian Club. Exhilda also was a member of Pioneer Memorial Church and also attended the African Seventh-day Adventist Church where she served as the Assistant Sabbath School Superintendant. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking, and doing her best on any project she was participating in. She was blessed with unique leadership qualities and would strive for perfection in all that she did.Survivors include her father, Job Mwinga of Lusaka, Zambia; her brothers - Maybin, Larry, Crawford, Marvin and Kennedy Mwinga all of Lusaka, Zambia; a sister - Beatrice Majele of Lusaka and a number of nieces and nephews (including Mwaamba Kabunda of Berrien Springs, MI), cousins and other relatives.
