Fannie Marie Whitfield

Marie was a beautiful person with the heart of God. She and I always kept in touch. Her son and my son were great friends and so that is how we met so many years ago. You will always be special to me and I will miss you dearly my sister, but we will see each other again one day.

Marie was such a beautiful person--- always positive, encouraging, and uplifting, with a twinkle in her eyes and smile on her face. She loved singing and praising God, and we loved hearing her sing "On Time God" just as much as she loved singing it. Her physical presence will truly be missed, but we can rejoice knowing that she did her best to be a faithful servant for her God. We strive to see her again on that great celestial shore!

My heart is with you during this difficult time. Marie was such a sweet person, and I feel truly grateful to have called her my friend. She was kind, warm, and thoughtful in a way that touched everyone around her.
She and I talked and texted often, and those conversations meant so much to me. Even as she faced her illness, she carried herself with grace and strength. I cared deeply for her, and I will miss her more than words can express.
