Faye Rabon
Faye Rabon, born December 20, 1973, passed away on January 16, 2026, at the age of 52, surrounded by her family, at her home in Nichols.
She lived life fully and was known for her love of living, her gentle heart, and her deep affection for horses and people. Faye had a strong work ethic and dedicated many years to serving others through her work at Magnolia’s, Ryan’s, Conway Mills, Side Wheelers, Pee Dee Lodge, Tom’s, Barnett Medical, and Carolina Care Medical Supply, where she formed many meaningful friendships.
She is survived by her beloved children, daughter Kenley Moore and son Daniel Lee (Ashley). Daughter of the late George Herman Rabon, she is also survived by her mother, Shirley Rabon; her brothers Kenny Rabon, George H. Rabon (Peter) (Christy), Larry Rabon (Stephanie), and Danny Rabon (Holly); and her sisters Sharon Rabon Fields (Morris), Linda Carroll (Jim), and Judy Rabon (Terry). Faye leaves behind many cherished nieces and nephews: Matt (Teresa) and Sean; Brooke (Joseph); Dustin (Kayla); Macie Rein and Natalie; Nicholas (Amy); Taylor (Joshua); Jason; Brittany (Anthony); Danielle (Jason); Tom (Kayla); Anne (Brandon); and Bradley (Kristin), as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved dearly; and her precious animals : dog Blue, horse Jet and the cat.
She is also remembered fondly by her special friends, Clinard Moore and Rhea Moore, and Caroline at McLeod Hospital who held a meaningful place in her life.
Faye will be remembered for her kind spirit, her love for her family, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Her family will hold a visitation, Monday, January 19, from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
Faye’s funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 P.M., with the Reverend Benji Hutson officiating. Faye will then be laid to rest following the service in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mullins. Cox-Collins Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Building Fund, 535 Nichols Hwy S, Nichols, SC 29581.
