Felipe Cordova Jr, 87 of Lorain, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 9, 2024 after a brief illness.
Felipe was born October 10, 1936 to Josefa Cordova Castro and Felipe Cordova Sr. in Yabucao Puerto Rico. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 45 years Carmen Leticia Cordova; brother Luis Miguel Roman and sister Bienvenida Roman
Felipe is survived by his children; Carmen Neida Alicea, Migdalia Cortes (German), Domingo Gutierrez Burgos Jr. (Nancy), Aida I. Cruz and Renee Castro (Brandy); brother; Juan Roman and sisters; Arcadia Roman, Luz Maria Roman, Margarita Roman and Carmen Cordova
Felipe retired from Conrail in 1998 after working for the railroad for 30 years. When Felipe wasn’t working on cars, he enjoyed playing dominoes, watching the Cleveland Indians, dancing to Salsa music and spending time with his many nieces, nephews and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Services will be held Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Champion Centre Church located in the Heritage Presbyterian Church, 515 N. Leavitt Road, Amherst. Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
