To the family of Mr Fernie, I am so sorry to hear he has passed. He was
a kind true christian May God bless you during this time..

I am so sorry to hear of Fernies passing. He was such a nice man. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Mr. Fernie. May you find comfort in the cherished moments you shared together, and may your memories bring you peace.

"Big Daddy!" He earned this title during the mission trip to Louisiana following Katrina nearly 17 years ago. Of course, I never let him forget it. I'll tell you if you want to know the story. To him, I was just "Boy" as he always told me to behave.

We are better for having been a part their world. What a void to overcome. They left a pattern for us to learn from and to follow. A recipe for life, in some way.

Always so polite, pleasant, and the perfect Southern Gentleman. Prayers for his family and friends. We are sure Mrs. Christine greeted him with open arms. They were both wonderful customers for many years.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of his family members. Mr Fernie was always so sweet and kind. My heart breaks especially for his children. Just know he is rejoicing with his beautiful Christine. They are both singing and praising Jesus together! R.I.P. Mr. Fernie. I will always remember you and your precious wife.

Mr. Fernie Harding Oliver, Jr., age 83, a resident of the Boyd Community in Pinetown, joined his Heavenly Father and reunited with his loving wife on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.
