Fidel Gamez passed away on July 2, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born in La Yerbabuena, Michoacan where he grew up. He came to the United States in the early 1970's amd worked in the fields in different states across the U.S. In 1994 he brought all his family to Blythe and remained in Blythe since then.
He loved going back to his hometown in Mexico, it was his favorite place in the world. It would bring him so much joy every time his children and grandchildren would go to spend time there. He loved riding horses and spending time out in the country.
He is survived by his children Alberto (Consuelo), Jaime, Manuel (Kika), Valentin (Elena), Vicky (Lorenzo) and her grandchildren Nilton (Lan), Alberto (Gioia), Valentin (Josette), Carlos, Lorenzo, Mateo, Andres, Alondra, Ivan, Fidelito, Lorena and Alex. He was preceded in death by his wife Josefina Gamez.
We will miss him dearly but are thankful for the time we had him and for everything he did for us and the love he gave us. We will continue to carry his love with us.

Nació en La Yerbabuena, Michoacán, donde creció. Llegó a Estados Unidos a principios de la década de 1970 y trabajó en el campo en diferentes estados del país. En 1994, trajo a toda su familia a Blythe y se quedo en Blythe desde entonces.
Le encantaba regresar a su pueblo natal en México; era su lugar favorito en el mundo. Le llenaba de alegría cada vez que sus hijos y nietos iban a pasar tiempo allí. Le encantaba montar a caballo y disfrutar del campo.
Le sobreviven sus hijos Alberto (Consuelo), Jaime, Manuel (Kika), Valentín (Elena), Vicky (Lorenzo) y sus nietos Nilton (Lan), Alberto (Gioia), Valentín (Josette), Carlos, Lorenzo, Mateo, Andrés, Alondra, Iván, Fidelito, Lorena y Alex. Le precedió en la muerte su esposa Josefina Gámez.
Lo extrañaremos muchísimo, pero estamos agradecidos por el tiempo que lo tuvimos, por todo lo que hizo por nosotros y por el amor que nos brindó. Seguiremos llevando su amor con nosotros.
