I first met Fitz in the 1980's and I will always remember him as a person of great faith and a reputable business person. My sincere condolences to the family.

Fitz was one of my best and dearest friend. . We talked on the phone regularly (almost daily) until recently when we couldn’t understand what each was saying. His daughters, Jean and Deborah would translate for us. Our main topics were politics, Carolina basketball and football. We spoke of things of the Lord.
