Flint, you’ve been such wonderful son-in-law to me for nearly 35 years, you have always been so uplifting & positive , especially the last year of your life, you will be so missed, so glad I got to be at your last birthday celebration on June28th , my heart is so broken today, you will be forever in our hearts, my prayers go out for all your family at this time , love you so very much, R.I.P., ❤❤❤

He was a great person as I knew him grewing up and have been friends over the past 40 years. I am was devastated that the world lost a great man! He is flying with angels up in heaven! Love ya buddy

I did know Flint as a young man, but I knew him growing up as a young boy. And I knew his Dad and grandfather Sid . Tommy build the house I lived in KC. Carhy and Derrel I have known for a long time. Flint's Obituary

Flint Arthur Richardson, 66, passed away July 7, 2025. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. and service at 11:00 a.m. at the Abundant Life Church in Knox City. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Homes, Knox City.

Flint was born June 26, 1959, in Knox City, Texas to Lois and Tommy Richardson. Flint was a man of many talents. He was a skilled carpenter, business owner, and loved farming and ranching, especially working with his cattle. After his retirement, he enjoyed being an owner/operator for Oakley Trucking.

Flint was an adoring husband to his wife Christy of 34 years, a dedicated father to his four children, and the best PaPa to his six grandchildren. Flint embraced hard work and pursued every endeavor with an optimistic outlook and joy for life. He always found the silver lining in every situation. His kindness was unmatched. He loved a good joke and found immense joy in making his friends and family laugh. His authentic and genuine way of being made a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. Flint was also an avid music fan and passed down his love for music to all four of his children. His faith, humor, wit and presence will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife Christy of Knox City; son Eric and wife Mona of Waxahachie, daughter Kristi and husband Rick of Amarillo, son Chris and wife Carly of Fort Worth, and son Clayton of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren, Avery and husband Jakob, Taylor, Tres, Rheanna, Jacob and Josiah. Sister Cathy and husband Derrell; brother Sid and wife Monica; many nieces and nephews that meant the world to him and a host of friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents Lois and Tommy Richardson and brother Tad.
