Florence's Obituaries

Florence M. Mastrianno   (nee DeMatteis), 90, of Caldwell passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial, 9 Smull Ave., Caldwell. A Mass will be held at St. Aloysius Church, Caldwell, on Thursday, June 23, 2016 at 10 a.m., followed by the interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Born in Orange, Mrs. Mastrianno moved to Caldwell 25 years ago.

She was employed as a claims examiner for Chubb Insurance Co. before retiring.

She was an active member of the Caldwell Community Center for many years.

Mrs. Mastrianno was the wife of the late Frank Mastrianno; loving mother of Linda Ciavatta, Dr. Frank Mastrianno and his wife, Stephanie; cherished grandmother of Christine Visco and her husband, Peter, Michael Ciavatta and his wife, Amanda.

She was predeceased by her dear son-in-law, Anthony Ciavatta and loving brothers, John and Henry DeMatteis.

In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
