Florence (Shand) Pellows, 81, of Middletown, formerly of Meriden and Wallingford, died Sunday, December 21, 2014, at Water?s Edge Center for Health. She was the loving wife of the late Henry E. Pellows.She was born in North Adams, MA, May 30, 1933, a daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Dustin) Shand. She had been a Wallingford resident for many years until moving to Meriden in 1988 and later to Middletown.Florence is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Frederick Riso of Wallingford and Beverly and Gary Wilcox of Danielson; her two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Debbie Pellows of Cromwell and Douglas and Margo Pellows of Meriden; her grandchildren, Heather Pellows, Nicole Pellows, Margaret Pellows, Douglas Pellows, Jr., Kayli Wilcox and Dustin Wilcox; and many extended family members. She was predeceased by her grandson, Marcel LaBrie.Her family will receive relatives and friends in the Wallingford Funeral Home, 809 North Main Street, Ext., Wallingford, Tuesday, from 5 to 7 p.m. A service will follow in the funeral home at 7 p.m. Interment will be private in the State Veterans?
