I met Flo , I believe in 1971 as I commuted from SDSU back home after Dad and her married. They were living on Sacramento Ave.. Dad met Flo at the Martinique Theater at 95th and Western Ave.
She served as a food preparer and waitress. Flo enjoyed her kitchen and loved to prepare meals for me one way.. Flo’s way. There she expressed her affection to her new in-laws. We remember Flo today and send our deepest condolences to her family. We enjoyed our time with her at Peace Village and they took very good care of her. We appreciate her genuine hospitality whenever we visited her whether it was in her home or at the cottage in Maryland. She enjoyed swimming with our children and she was a strong woman. We remember her as a generous person to others and she, surely, enjoyed Easter! She was quick to ask whether you were still hungry after a meal. She...
