Floyd "Bill"'s Obituary

Floyd William “Bill” Warner of Alma, formerly of Davison, age 70, passed away peacefully at home on Friday October 24, 2025. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 pm Saturday November 1, 2025 at Hansen Funeral Home Groves Chapel, Downtown Davison:  Robert Maskeil officiating. Family will receive visitors from 2:00 pm Saturday until time of services. Those desiring may make contributions in Bill’s memory to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Davison for Catholic Education.

Bill was born in Flint Michigan on December 19, 1954 the son of James and Frances (Stockton) Warner and had resided in the area most of his life. Bill was a graduated of Bentley High School Class of 1973. Bill had been employed by General Motor AC Spark Plug and continued his career with the Buick Motor Division before retiring after thirty-two years of dedicated service.

Bill married the love of his life in March of 2000, Josephine “Jo’’ Elizondo. Together they shared many adventures: traveling, hunting spending time with their camping family, crafting and building furniture side by side. Bill’s creativity and craftsmanship matched only by his love of family and friends. Bill was an avid Detroit Lions fan.

He leaves to cherish his memory wife Jo, and his loving grandchildren he especially cherished spending time with: Alex, Max, and Eli (sons of Nolan and Melani Piotrowski), and Sam, Isabella, Matteo, and Joey (children of Joe and Stefanie Cecchini). He also leaves a host of extended family and friends who will remember him for his warmth, humor, and the he poured in everything he did.
