Not sure what to say?

Dear Cousin,
Still missing you and the times we spent together.

Jeter and Debbie were our next door neighbors on the lake in SLO. My husband Gary and I were impressed with Jeter's bench pressing abilities in his garage. We joked that if Jeter could be a fit Dad to Jason in his 60s, surely Gary could be a Dad again at 45. Thus, our daughter was born. Jeter used to laugh and say our Sarah, now 20, was born do to him!! I still have her beloved baby blanket that was a gift from the Jeters. We were also amazed and thrilled to run into them at an Easter Egg...

Jason and family...what a terrible loss. We have such great memories of Jeter. Hugs to you all. The Ferris Family

Floyd was a member of the 1955 National Champion Track team competing in the high jump (6' 7) and 120HH (14.7). His jump was ranked the 3rd all-time best USC high jump at the time. Floyd came to USC via Roosevelt HS and East LA College. Floyd set the National JC record for the high jump (6' 8) at the 1954 National AAU meet.

I will NEVER forget you my sweet cousin. We shared great moments and big laughs. Love you FOREVER!

This world could use more reasonable people like you. OK , so later in life we may have not contacted each other as often as the early years but your easy manner and approach to life...

In memory of Floyd Jeter Jr's illuminating life on earth! You were an angel sent by G-d to brighten the lives of those you touched!

I met my first husband at a party at Floyd and Virgie's house in 1968. Wow, did they like to party! LOL! After our marriage, we moved to an an apartment across the street from them on Lemoyne in L. A. and got to know the family very well! Floyd always had encouraging words for me! I hadn't seen him, Virgie, or the kids for many years but, when we met up on a recent trip to CA, it was as if no time had passed! Floyd hugged and kissed me as if we had only seen him yesterday. He told me that my...

My memory bank is full of more than a decade of life moments spent with a dear friend.. Jeter. From golf to sports to solving problems (or creating them) over a refreshment I loved our time spent together. Best to the family and Peace be with you my friend.
