Not sure what to say?

I knew him at Creighton doing Spirituality MA. He had a wonderful sense of humor. We could go for half an hour to an hour exchanging puns. I miss that even now!

He was a good man. He had a sense of humor.

My dear Uncle Neko, as your anniversary approaches it's still so difficult to know you're physically not here w/us. You always had a way of communicating w/me....even now. :") I know that you'll always be w/ us. Until we meet again.... RIP.... Love, your niece Yvette Talamantez "My nani" (as u would call me) ❤

Fr. Gilbert had a gentle, gracious and grateful heart. I knew him at Oblate School of Theology. After his ordination, he returned to OST for a visit. He glowed with love and gratefulness to God for being a priest. He blessed my co-worker and I at the end of our visit; we both were aware of what a grace that was for us.
In my twenty-four years of working at Oblate School, Fr. Gil was the priest who most embodied the love and joy of being a priest!
We touched base after he moved...

Rest in Peace my friend. My condolences to your family.

Father, enjoy Heaven, my friend. You've got a lot of folks there looking forward to hugging again.

I worked with Fr. Gil many years ago at St Francis. He had a very joyful spirit and was always willing to listen. My sympathies to his family.

I worked with Fr. Gil in the diocese of Ft. Worth when he did his Deaconate Pastoral Experience at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Grapevine. He was a gentle soul who made many friends among parishioners. He made tremendous sacrifices when he entered the seminary and after his ordination, he was dedicated to serving the people in the rural parishes he served. I knew his health had declined, but was not aware of his death until today. My sympathies to his family and closer friends....

I am so sorry to know that Fr. Gil is no longer with us. I worked with him for a number of years at AAFES. He was a kind and supportive colleague, a gentle soul, a friend. Forever in my heart and prayers.
